When you put a birdbath in your backyard, you expect to look out your window and see some fine-feathered friends frolicking in it, either playing or drinking or just trying to stay cool.
What you don't expect, however, is for your reasonably-sized birdbath to be filled with an animal of a different kind (though their name still starts with a "b"). That's exactly the surprise that this homeowner got when they looked out their window: Baby bears soaking in their birdbath, acting like it's the most normal thing in the world.
It's actually not uncommon to see bears behaving like this when the California sunshine gets to be too much (the video was filmed in Pasadena), but what's particularly shocking is that they weren't alone. That's right: Just like us humans, bear mamas keep a close eye on their cubs when they're in the water. Check out the adorable video below.
