Four years ago, a New York City couple went to the Animal Haven Shelter in Soho to adopt a dog. Though there was an adorable litter of eight-week-old puppies to choose from, they decided to go with a dog named "Pubert." They renamed her Samo, and took her home.
Over the years, Samo has had an amazing life full of adventures — but she hasn't seen any of her siblings. Until now, that is. Samo's owners organized a reunion with some of her siblings, planning a meetup at Happy Paws in NYC. What happened next is absolutely adorable.
Here's what Samo's owner had to say about the reunion on her YouTube page:
We shared stories about similarities, likes and dislikes, their health history and their taste in food (they're all foodies). Some love sticks, some love swimming, other's hate it. And they've all eaten something they shouldn't have at some point (paint, muffins, raw bacon, nuts, fortune cookies)! I really do believe the dogs knew they were family.
Despite the years of separation, there's still a bond between these pups — proof that adopting one from a litter doesn't have to mean keeping them from their family forever.
Next, puppies that look like pandas.
