You've probably heard rumors of some cat owners training their beloved felines to use the toilet instead of the litter box. With a little bit of patience and perseverance, it's a definite possibility: Step by step, you can teach your cat that the toilet is basically a large litter box without the litter, and he or she will treat it as such. However, you can't stop a cat from being a cat, which means that post-pee, the animal will still engage in the same habits it would in a litter box, pawing at the sandy stuff that isn't actually there.
To illustrate this point, you've got to see this resourceful cat, who has been fully trained to go to the bathroom like a human. Except, when he's finished, there's no litter around — so naturally, he uses toilet paper (and a lot of it) instead. See how he does it (and wonder how that toilet isn't routinely clogged) in the video below.
Here he is, just casually peeing, minding his own business. His face is priceless — do we all look like this when we pee?
Of course, after the peeing part is done, you've got to cover it up. Alas, there's no litter around. What's a polite cat to do?
See the video to find out what his solution is. His enthusiasm will make you LOL.
