Reading cleaning labels requires a degree in chemistry or at least that’s what it feels like. But there’s plenty of items that are natural and environmentally friendly that do the job better than toxic cleaning products, plus they are much cheaper.
#1. The benefits of baking soda just cannot be replaced. Baking soda can be used to remove stains on clothes and surfaces. If your wall has crayon art on it, grab a damp towel with baking soda to gently rub it off.
#2. To remove the tarnish in copper puts, use ketchup. Dab some onto a cloth and polish the area. Let it sit for 30 minutes and rinse. You’ll have shiny copper bottoms again!
#3. Get all the tiny broken glass up before anyone steps on it. Just grab a bread slice lightly damped and get all the pieces with it.
#4. If setting up the Christmas tree leaves you with sticky fingers, pour a spoon of oil onto a cloth and rub it clean. Plus it’s a great moisturizer for dry winter skin.
